Nancy gave a demonstration on roller painting at our monthly meeting today. Everyone made their own roller using PVC pipe and weather stripping. We also used a rolling pin wrapped with string. Susan suggested rubber bands, so Nancy tried that out later in the day and got some great results! We had fun experimenting with different methods of applying the paint to the roller, and came up with some pretty cool fabric to use in our future projects! We used a variety of paints, Seta Color, transparent textile paint and regular acrylic paints. Now, let's all create something with the fabric we made today! It's always so much fun to get a group of creatives together to share ideas!
